Its okay -- Could be better

Like others have said, I dont think the app developers have actually used the app. I just started using it and have noticed a few odd things. First when I searched a show it didnt place the seasons and episodes in chronological order. They were all jumbled together and have to look through them all to find an episode I was looking for. The other, when starting a show the app automatically rotates the screen to be in landscape to the left. This is slightly annoying since I wished it was to the right. What would also be even better was if the video tilted with the phone like most other apps do.

Apple TV Showtime App

My Showtime app was working beautifully for two days and then all of a sudden whenever I hit "play" absolutely nothing happens, on any movie or series. Now Im just streaming from my phone to and through my AppleTV. The funny thing is I had the same issue with Hulu and I kept having to remove the app and put it back on which I simply refuse to do anymore for any of these apps. Im seeing some very sloppy stuff going on here with Apple TV with apps.

Audio quality is really bad -- please fix

The audio on these videos is WAY too compressed -- it sounds like a low-quality MP3 from the late 90s. This makes videos hard to watch and enjoy -- plenty of streaming services get this right, but its really bad on Showtime. I will probably not continue my subscription after my trial ends.

It keeps crashing !

It keeps crashing! Its a good app btw could be better though like, I dont want to keep going back to search up the episodes I want to see kind of annoying.. That can be a change && fix the crashing.. Seriously fix the crashing!

Bad server

Sever is down on my first night using the app...gotta watch shameless!!!!

Drops connection

Horrible. Keep getting a playback error and I then know Ill be unable to resume my show. The app is unable to connect to the Internet and it says to check MY connection which is always fine so I wind up moving on to Netflix.

The app has crashed! I use this app with my Chromecast and Im paying for this subscription. Every time I use try to use the app it says there is no internet connection. Please fix this!

App stopped working/PLEASE UPDATE ASAP

I have been pleased with the app until it stopped working. The app is saying that it cant connect to the internet which doesnt make sense because I am using wifi and also my tablet speed is LTE fast. Please update ASAP.

Not what I expected

Keeps shutting down.says my internet connection is not working which it is all my other apps are working such as Netflix & Hulu. Audio is also lagging

frustrating

Im having issues with connectivity. my connection is fine, with other apps the internet works fine but with this one it works sometimes and then stops, it says it is having connection problems. not sure why.

Cant connect to Internet?

Not my wifi. Only having problems with this app no matter I do or log on with it says it cant connect. I just want to watch Shameless either fix your crappy app or let Netflix stream the rest of the seasons.

JUNK!

This app is trash. Unorganized, slow and not it wont even work. Just says it cant connect to the Internet. Thats funny considering that every other device and app that I have works fine but this one! JUNK!

Cant open it

Every time I open the app it just tells me I cant connect because of my internet connection, but its not me. I can use HBO, Netflix, and every other app on my phone but this just doesnt work

Sound is horrific and cant use cellular data

The sound for this app is so heinous. Its the only app I have to turn the volume all the way up on. Also, the app crashes frequently. Right now Im also having a problem using my cellular data to watch the app. I have unlimited data and have been watching a lot on my phone of HBO, Netflix etc. using my LTE connection. This is the only app that shows an error message constantly telling me there is no internet connection. It makes me so mad because if Im paying monthly for an app, it should work properly. I understand if the app is overloaded it may sometimes lag or crash. But this is too much and too frequent. Please fix this!!

Horrible! Disappointed

The sound quality is atrocious. I have a 30-trial and the app has been down all day. I dont think Ill be renewing. How can a company this big have such a poor app?

App doesnt work!

When I open the app, it opens to a Showtime page that says "can not connect to the Internet, check connection." My connection is working perfectly. When I click the above "App Support" button, I get a blank page that says "Geo denied CA". Its has been an unstable app that has now completely stopped working.

Terrible customer service

Recently our Showtime app stopped working on all our devices ( iPad, Apple TV, smart phone) while at home. The problem (after hours on our part) appears to be whatever site Showtime is using to determine our IP address needs updating. We cant even access their live chat help desk. We have emailed their customer services at least 10 times and it still not working! They have offered no valid help to rectify problem.TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
