SHOWTIME App Reviews

I have contacted Showtime and Apple regarding this crappy app. Used to work then suddenly stopped working maybe 2-3 weeks now. Called Showtime (poor support dont call you back), and Apple since I have Apple products. Everyone is stumped cant figure it out. When I attempt to launch on Apple TV - not available now try again later, Apple iPad and iPhone - not able to connect to the Internet. All my other apps work and Internet connection is fine. Guess the developers dont give a rats as# because there are many reviews describing the same issue and no one seems to be doing anything about it

The Showtime app crashed almost every time I tried to pause the show I was watching. When I pressed "resume", it often picked up at a much earlier place in the show. Also, there was no way to play the next episode without having to return to the main show menu. One of the poorest and least user-friendly apps Ive encountered thus far.

I signed up for the 30 day free trial. So few current movies. Maybe one new released movie Once the 30 days are up going to keep looking because this would be a waste of money. Of the 3 streaming sites Ive tried this one has the worst selection. App works ok have to restart from time to time on the whole app is ok. Its the movies and shows that are garbage

Just installed and I have a new iPhone and all apps are up to date and I still cant view anything even though I signed up... CRAP!

App wont connect to the tv with hdmi on ur iPhone or iPad. Wish I could give a zero star.

This app is awful. It will close every time I select an episode to watch. Even after restarting phone I still have the same issue. The audio quality is poor, and I would like an auto play of the next episode once one is finished. But seriously, why am I paying so much for an app that doesnt work..?

To pay monthly for this and showtime-any time, is compete garbage. The app never works and is always down. Says "cannot connect to Internet" for burn apps. And yes i checked if my internet was working. Do not recommend this app or service.

This app is really buggy. Im using during the 30 day free trial. 1. Remote become unresponsive over time 2. Doesnt remember where you left off at times 3. Laggy at times unlike Netflix and HBO ( Im on Appletv 4) 4. Just not a great experience. This needs a lot of improvement. I probably will not keep the subscription.

What the App description doesnt tell you is that the app prevents you from connecting your device to a larger screen. Even the HBO app allows you to do that. Disappointing. Im cancelling the service.

App is good , content is okay. But nothing much to offer if you already have Netflix/Hulu/HBO. No point spending 10$ more on this. Nothing much exclusive here .

I can not get get the app to work at all. Keeps freezing up.

Apparently I created an account (got a confirmation email) but I cant log into it on iPad nor Apple TV. Endless buffering. Stay clear.

This app is good but then it has its flaws and should be thought over about an update on the technology that has been used. To make it more efficient.

Downloaded and Deleted For A Game. Reviews State It Is Terrible.

boring, what i dont like about this app is all movies comes only in english,not other lenguage,there are many ppl that love same movies in diferent lenguages,, 1 star that is what u get for ur app

The worst app. I have ever used on Apple TV and my iPhone completely useless. I wish it had a negative star rating. Dont waste your money or time. It never loads right just spins and then says its not available.
