SHOWTIME App Reviews

The quality of the image is poor every time I watch a show. It is not my internet service providers issue. Netflix comes streams crystal clear.

If i got a penny every time this Showtime failed to stream a show, it would pay for itself and a few more

I love Showtime, but wish that the app provided some basic ease of use features. It would be amazing to open the app and have the option to pick up where I Ieft off versus scrolling through all the series & episodes.

I read other reviews, and for some people it doesnt work, but Ive had NO problems and I love it. I only use it for Shameless, and I got exactly what I came for

This app is no where near the experience you should have. Though, I havent had the buffering issues as bad as some, its definitely a real pain to start watching a series and have to relocate the next episode after the first finished. Additionally, the dashboards and layout is poor. Showtime could use a few pointers by looking at the HBO now app (for their standalone streaming service).

The app is very inconsistent. Does not connect to the Internet, while Netflix and other apps can.

Only 6.99 more a month fir showtime on Hulu. Pros : For me it streams well and the picture and sound is great, si far no problems. The price is 11.99 a month, which is five dollars less than HBO. Cons: You have to stream the shows over internet data which can be expensive. I use wifi for all my apps, tou MUST remember to turn off cellular data in your settings. The price is five dollars more than HULU, which you also have to stream.

The audio sounds horrible and the movie selection isnt that great. Thank god Im only on a free trial. I definitely wont be subscribing to showtime.

I wanted to try this out. Was auto subscribed with no reminders using my iTunes account. Super lame.

Why would you limit your own product to only a very few select expensive devices? This is a poor business model for any type of media. Let any device connect to any tv. Dont limit yourself.
